Mr. Peterson
I had an opportunity to visit my first printmaking instructor in Trepassey, NL. We hadn't been together for nearly twenty years. Warren Peterson also taught me several drawing classes and is a prime influence in my thinking about art and life. He is also a master of the critique. Impossible to know how to thank him but he really made a difference in my life (and many others). How about simply, thank-you, Mister P.
St. Michael’s Printshop Residency
This photo was taken along the harbour in St. John's, NL where Rhonda and I are starting a month long residency at St. Michael's Printshop. I would give her the photo credit but she doesn't want to take it.
This afternoon at the Chan Centre / UBC
Photo credit to John Wertschek. Fred Herzog was the recipient of an Honorary Doctorate of Letters from Emily Carr today. After the convocation ceremony, I took the opportunity to talk with him about photography and his amazing body or work.
