Return to Banff
This is the second year in a row that I have been fortunate enough to work at the Banff Centre continuing collaborative explorations with Rhonda Neufeld. Here I am with Jonathan Green (who is a work study student in the print studio here) and his teacher, Jackie Barrett. Jackie made an impromtu stop to visit us. Jackie studied with me in Fort McMurray. She has been teaching recently in NFLD.
Still-life with Amy
Amy Shostak is one of the rising stars at Rapidfire Theatre in Edmonton, AB. It is not everyday of the year that you will find her in Vancouver! But this past week she and Rapidfire’s artistic director, Kevin Gillese, came to V-town to do some improv theatre and workshops. We all took the opportunity to have lunch together.
In the beginning
In a far away place, long ago, we were the “inimitable” rhythm section for Mozart and the Wolfgang. Gigs usually twice every weekend, blowing out the walls at Temple Gardens, holding down the streets of Moose Jaw and traveling through most of the southern part of SK. One week ago in Edmonton, Don Quinn and I met for the first time in almost forty years to compare notes.
