Rhonda Neufeld and I had been collaborative partners for three years when we taught a Special Topics course on collaboration at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in 2010. The class met once a week on Wednesdays from 8:30 until 3:40. We decided to meet every morning before the class started on Broadway Avenue and to work on a drawing as we walk to the school on Granville Island. We hoped this would get us into the space of collaboration to be ready for the students. In fourteen weeks we made these fourteen drawings.
